Your central hub for all things Bengals free agency.
This. Is. March. But the madness we’re referring to, of course, is NFL free agency.
Never before has the salary cap been this hot of a topic. The cap has increased by about $10 million for the last several years. This year, it will be more than $10m lower than it was last year. This has already spurred a lot of veterans being released from clubs all over the league, as cap space has never been this vital before.
The Cincinnati Bengals are in a better position than most of the NFL. They can easily create more cap space, but they’re already in a great position to attack the open market like they did last year.
Before that happens, expect a good number of Cincinnati’s impending free agents to be re-signed. Will this include the likes of Carl Lawson and William Jackson III?
Plenty of news will be dropping over the next few weeks. This is the place to get it all!
- Clark Harris (one-year)
- Jalen Davis (one-year)
