Video: President Donald Trump visits border wall in Alamo, Texas

President Donald Trump flew to visit Alamo, Texas Tuesday to deliver remarks near a portion of the border wall.

The trip to the Rio Grande Valley, intended to highlight his administration’s work on the wall, came with just over a week left in Trump’s presidency.

The small town of Alamo was named after the famed mission 240 miles north in San Antonio.

More than 400 miles of border wall have been completed during Trump’s time in office. However, only 30 miles are in new areas, according to a Customs and Border Protection report obtained by the Express-News.
