The Denver Broncos made several transactions and officially made a decision on Sunday’s starting quarterback situation.
Denver plans to start Drew Lock against the Miami Dolphins, according to multiple reports. KUSA-TV’s Mike Klis was among the first to report the QB news. Lock was limited at practice on Thursday and Friday after suffering a rib injury in last week’s loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.
In addition to making a QB decision, the Broncos also activated guard/tackle Elijah Wilkinson from injured reserve to the 53-man roster and called up three practice squad players for Week 11.
Tight end Troy Fumagalli and safety Alijah Holder were this week’s standard practice squad promotions. Linebacker Josh Watson was promoted as a COVID-19 replacement (defensive lineman Shelby Harris is still on the Reserve/COVID-19 list). Fumagalli, Holder and Watson will be eligible to revert back to the practice squad without having to clear waivers next week.
