Meghan McCain gives newborn baby patriotic name
Meghan McCain announced she was expecting her first child eight months after opening up about her previous miscarriage.

“We are excited to share the happy news that our @MeghanMcCain and her husband Ben Domenech have welcomed their first child,” said a tweet on the daytime talk show’s account. “Congratulations Meghan and Ben.”
McCain, the 35-year-old daughter of Sen. John McCain, tapped her family’s love of democracy for her daughter’s name –Liberty Sage McCain Domenech.
The Arizona senator unsuccessfully ran for president as the Republican nominee in 2008. He died in August 2018 from brain cancer.

But don’t expect to see any photos of baby Liberty anytime soon.
In May, McCain announced that she won’t share any aspect of her pregnancy with the public after receiving hurtful comments about her father’s death.
“I know this is an unorthodox choice for a talk show host who is on tv five days a week – but I’ve always lived by the beat of my own drum,” McCain, “The View” panel’s outspoken conservative commentator, explained on Instagram.

“The View” co-host, 34, revealed in an op-ed for the New York Times Friday that she lost a pregnancy weeks ago.
After finding out they were expecting, the television personality said the couple “made the conscious decision to guard our (growing) families (sic) privacy.”
“I believe children have a right to privacy and hope you will all understand as we navigate this as much as possible going forward without sacrificing our comfort or safety,” she added on Instagram in May.
McCain tied the knot with Domenech, 38, in November 2017 at her family’s ranch in Sedona, Arizona, with her father by her side.
